GTA and Surrounding Area
Since the spring of 2009 when the Thornhill Triathlon Club became a part of Thornhill Multisport, programs have been put together that incorporates both training and competition opportunities for Triathletes of all levels. By combining the Triathlon club with the Thornhill Masters Aquatic Club, the combined entity has been able to grow and develop programs for adult athletes to get proper coaching, and training. The club runs year around programs for all who are interested.
Under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Ian Feldman, the combined entity has worked diligently setting up a series of programs for Masters Swimmers and Triathletes as well as those who want participate in both disciplines. The NYAC Triathlon Swim Program is designed to provide a swim training regimen for adult triathletes of all levels and experience. Our focus is on stroke technique, endurance, strength, speed, and fun. Swimmers can expect to log between 2000 and 4000 meters per workout. The University of Toronto Triathlon Club is open to everyone. Our members’ abilities range from absolute novice to world-championship level athletes. The Club’s access to the Athletics Centre’s outstanding facilities – including an Olympic-sized pool – as well as our professional coaching staff allow us to deliver a complete training program like no other in the GTA. During the academic year, our members compete in the University Multisport Series, which include two races held at U of T. In the spring and summer, members race at local and international single-sport and triathlon races ranging from 5Ks and super-sprints to marathons and iron-distance races. The Toronto Triathlon Club is a great place to meet training partners and other triathletes from the Greater Toronto Area, while also offering opportunities to challenge yourself personally and to celebrate your accomplishments in a supportive and social environment. Our mission is to develop a community of multi-sport athletes from recreational to elite who share the common purpose to:
– achieve their personal athletic goals;
– encourage individual growth and performance in the sport through mentoring and learning;
– participate in organized group training sessions consisting of professionally designed workouts; and
– socialize in a fun and congenial environment.

The Morning Glory Cycling Club is a “collection of like-minded cyclists who love to see the sun rise. Nobody gets left behind, and shouts of encouragement are constant as we enjoy the suffering as a group.” The Club was started in 2011 and has continued to grow. As a club our goal is to promote safe, recreational cycling, as such we have three chapters in the Greater Toronto Area, one in Central Toronto, another in High Park, and a third in Oakville, with over 20 rides per week!
The Morning Glory Cycling Club recognized that our diverse membership was very interested in multisport. In 2014 Morning Glory became an official Triathlon Ontario sanctioned Club.

Ryerson Rams Triathlon Club – Do you have a passion for swimming, cycling, or running? Then the Ryerson Triathlon Club is for you. This club is not an exclusive club strictly for athletes training for triathlons but includes those whom want to maintain an active lifestyle and focus on the areas they enjoy.

The Fletcher’s Meadow Triathlon Club is for swimmers, runners, cyclists, triathlete, male & female, of all levels in the Brampton and surrounding area. Fletcher’s Meadow is located in North West Brampton close to the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. Created in June of 2003, our members are interested in group training to benefit their health and well being and are known for being friendly and helpful. C3 Canadian Cross Training Club is a non-profit club connecting people of all ages with a healthy multisport lifestyle and achievable athletic goals, through a fitness level appropriate to each and coaching in a team atmosphere.

The goal of the Durham Region Triathlon Club is to promote and develop the sport of triathlon in Durham Region. Markham Tri Group was established in 2009. We are a fun bunch of people who participate in and care about the sport of triathlon in Canada. We love to train, love to race, and love to eat and talk about tri’s! – the best part of the whole thing. Based out of Markham, Ontario the group has members from all over the GTA. Local and destination training swims, bike rides, and runs are arranged through social media. Regular social events and race day support are the two key features of the group that keep bringing everyone back and help people get through even the toughest days.
Mettle Multisport is a not-for-profit, member focused, triathlon club based in York Region. The Hamilton Hammerheads Athletic Club is a training group for young multi-sport athletes with deep roots in the Golden Horseshoe. BLAST Triathlon Club is based in Dundas and has been offering coaching support for over 10 years to adult athletes of all levels and abilities. BLAST members meet as a group once a week (year-round) at various locations in Dundas, Ancaster, or West Hamilton for a structured workout (run or bike-run) led by certified NCCP triathlon coaches. During the off-season, the club organizes indoor training such as cycling and swimming at an additional cost. Balance Point Triathlon is triathlon club located in London, Ontario. We welcome athletes of all ages and ability levels. The UWO Triathlon Club was established in 1992. A group of triathletes of abilities ranging from novice to elite national level athletes began by organizing a seminar on campus with the National Team coach. Champion Bicycle Multisport Club – London Ontario based Champion Bicycle Multi Sport Club’s objective is to increase awareness and recognition for multi sport events thereby increasing popularity of triathlon and Duathlon in London and surrounding area. The Kincardine Triathlon Club is made up of members who compete and train at a variety of levels and distances. We have every type of athlete from those who are just starting out in Triathlon to those who have done many Ironman races. The club offers regular training sessions all year long. These take the form of Sunday morning group runs, spring/summer track workouts as well as regular group rides and swims. All of our training sessions have a heavy focus on having fun while we try and improve ourselves at the sport that we love. The Midland Triathlon/duathlon Club is run through the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka-Midland YMCA from Oct 2003 to July 2004. The goal of the club is to compete in the Midland Triathlon (July 11, 2004). Club members range in abilities from those new to the sport to members competing in numerous Ironman events and even the Worlds. Members range from youth to seniors. The club is open to everyone! The members meet weekly for workouts, and bi-monthly for technical, tactical and information sessions. Education is the key to safe fitness! We event have a social committee that plans outing every few months. i.e. snowshoeing. The Midland Triathlon club is all about a positive, healthy multisport experience!

The Runners Life Multisport Club – Runner’s Life Multisport (RLM) is a Kawartha based club offering workouts and races to it’s members in a variety of sports such as running, cycling, swimming and skiing.
The Cornwall Multisport Club – The Cornwall Multisport Club is a running and triathlon club located in Eastern Ontario. The purpose of the Cornwall Multisport Club is to get more people from Cornwall and the Seaway Valley to participate in physical activities. Our members may be serious at times in their efforts at training but we emphasize having fun, making new friends who share common interests and motivating each other to do well. Being a member of the club gives you many benefits from discounts at stores and restaurants to training with experienced athletes and training partners. Another benefit is meeting new people and getting together for social events.
The Ottawa Triathlon Club – The Ottawa Triathlon Club is a recreational organization dedicated to helping it’s members make triathlon training a fun part of a healthy lifestyle. The club’s growing range of programs not only help participants to prepare for participation in the sport of triathlon, it keeps them in shape and motivated year round. Variety is the key to physical fitness – change what you do and not only will your body develop quicker, you’ll stay motivated too. The programs change with the season, some indoors, some outdoors, and cover a wide range of physical activities. We even have our own clubhouse featuring state of the art Lemond Revmaster indoor bikes.
Quinte Multisport Club – Founded in January 2003 we are small right now. There are already top triathletes in the club and many age group winners. The OAT Ontario Long Course Masters Champion is also a member.

The Buffalo Triathlon Club (BTC) is dedicated to multisport athletes of all ages and athletic abilities. Our mission is to give access to a network of people who can provide information, encouragement, training opportunities, and education in an effort to promote healthy, active lifestyles in a friendly and supportive environment.
The Buffalo Triathlon Club (BTC) was founded in Buffalo, NY in January of 1997, and has been growing ever since. By 2011 we had more than 400 members of various athletic abilities and levels. The club membership interests represent full & half Ironman, Olympic, Sprint, Duathlon racing and training, as well as members who just enjoy swimming, biking, or running and everything in between.
The goal of the BTC is to promote multisports (triathlon, duathlon, etc), and bring people together for training, racing, and fun! Whether you are a veteran of many races, or someone who is just thinking about trying one, this club is for you! The BTC is open to anyone wishing to join and abide by our club by-laws. We have members of all ages and skill levels, and advanced club members are always eager to help out those that are new to the sport.
