2023 Rose City (Welland) Post Race Report
From all of the staff at MultiSport Canada, we were so happy to welcome back a full house for the 2023 Rose City (Welland) Triathlon.
The weekend started with a light drizzle and cooler temperatures, but that meant perfect racing temperatures for the Long Course Events.
On Sunday morning, the fog lifted just in time for the start of the Sprint at 8AM. Just a few hours later, this turned into sunny skies and warmer temperatures for the Give-It-A-Tri Events.
The Sprint and Give-It-A-Tri also saw a return to wave starts which brought some renewed excitement to both events.
A BIG “Thank You” goes out to Ron and Lynda Lemon who once again lead our local volunteer recruitment this past weekend.
Mark your calendars are next year’s Rose City (Welland) Triathlon and Duathlon will be hosted on Saturday, June 22nd & Sunday, June 23rd, 2024.
Our entire staff is looking forward to the rest of the season and we hope to see YOU at another MultiSport Canada event in 2023!
