Summer Covid Checklist

During these unprecedented times, it’s hard to stay motivated. While there’s no need to crank out super hard sessions or put in heavy training blocks that may compromise your immune system, it does help to stay consistent. So, I’ve come up with a summer checklist of 8 things to complete by Sept 21st! These all encourage you to keep training and have a little fun with the sport.

1 – Complete your longest bike ride ever

2 – Run/walk at least 5K every day for 5 days in 1 week

3 – Start a strength program you do twice a week for at least 4 weeks (ex:

4 – Swim every day for 7 days in row (even a 10 minute swim can count!)

5 – Swim, ride or run on one of the Multisport Canada event race courses

6 – Complete a virtual race (race or complete it for fun!)

7 – Complete a short paragraph about why you do triathlon

8 – Make a short video of you doing something related to triathlon – funny is good!

If you complete all 8, send your training/other files/screen shots to win a free Lactate Test on the bike or run. All workouts count starting from Now to Sept 21, 2020. Complete at your own risk and maintain physical distancing.


Prince Edward County: Wine & Ride

Looking for a fall getaway with like minded athletes who like to train, relax and have a little fun, too?

Join Coaches, Miranda Tomenson & Tara Postnikoff (Healthy Eating Active Living) for a Ride & Wine weekend in beautiful Prince Edward County. Along with Yoga & Fitness Instructor Kimberley Ferguson-Mutch (Kimberley Mutch Yoga) we are presenting 3 fun-filled days (2 nights) of activities including riding, yoga, swimming, running and hiking.

We also want you to relax, so all activities are optional and we will also be touring 3 local wineries.

We will have 2 RMTs on site (from Perform Well Massage Therapy) for some added pampering if you choose (additional fee applies).

Fee – $225 + HST per person. Family members are welcome to join you. Email us for family rates based on participation of activities.
