Lionel Sanders to race against a stacked field on Saturday

Add in Olympic medalist, World Champions, Ironman Champions and you can visualize just how good the field is for Saturday’s US Pro 70.3 Championships in St. George, Utah.
Lionel Sanders, C3 and Recharge With Milk Triathlon Series Ambassador Team athlete, will be in the deepest, biggest field of his young triathlon career. After an undefeated amateur season last year, Lionel did his first pro race in Muskoka last Sept where he won the overall race beating Andreas Raelert (one of the top Ironman athletes in the world).
On Saturday, Lionel will have about 25 guys of that level. He tells me the course is very hilly, very tough. He hopes to keep his swim deficit to 2.5-3min from the Olympians and then make inroads on the bike and run.
