Be Stronger in 2021

With races being cancelled and seemingly nowhere to showcase your fitness, you might have made the decision to shut things down and wait until next year. However, that would be the loss of an opportunity to make yourself even stronger for the 2021 season. Thankfully, it’s still not too late though to reap the benefits.

For the athletes we currently coach at PR Endurance Training, we’ve continued to keep the eye on the prize. Setting goals to attain various benchmarks in training, to tackle various challenges or virtual races (like MultiSport Canada’s Distance and Duration Challenge or the Honda Waterfront Run) and putting on our own race days (many of these coming up in August).

Our athletes have realized that they can keep mentally engaged along with building to peak fitness for their own event, go into recovery and then have an exceptional base of fitness to build from for 2021.

So with some solid outdoor training days ahead, I encourage you to commit to a challenge or two to build towards and conquer. And while getting out to swim, ride or run long and without any game plan can be fun, you should still have some intense and structured sessions to optimally build your fitness towards your chosen challenge or event. Especially if you have a time goal.

If you don’t know where to start, we invite you to contact us for assistance and to follow us on social media to see what we are up to. We look forward to seeing you all crush your races at the MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series and the Barrelman Triathlon in 2021. We will be right there with you.
