An Update on the Triathlon Series from President Jason Vurma

I hope everyone has taken the new opportunities that this summer provided.  Happy to report that we had nearly 600 participants in our Monthly Challenges through July, Aug & Sept.  We have been very pleased to hear that that many folks have really appreciated having something tangible to work towards over these past few months.

Despite the current uncertainty in our world, we have begun planning for the 2021 season in earnest.  We have been in-touch with each of our host communities and host venues over the past six weeks.  We will continue to stay in-touch with all key stakeholders over the course of the next month with the goal of launching registration for selected events in early November.

The events that seem most likely to be launched in early November are at venues where we have the flexibility to expand the timeframe and/or the footprint.  These expanded timelines could allow for small cohorts to be run over either a longer day, or over several days.

For other events, we will need to wait until we have more certainty related to larger gathering limits before we can responsibly open registration.

Despite all the uncertainty of the past nine months, one thing that has stayed consistent is MultiSport Canada’s commitment to bring you Safe, Fun and Fair events.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back at the events we love in 2021,

Jason Vurma

President
