2026 Toronto Island Tri and Du Post Race Report

What a weekend on Toronto Island as we welcomed many brave participants doing their first Triathlon or Duathlon Event.
The weather was on our side, and we appreciated your positive attitude behind our decision to slightly modify the swim course on Sunday to stay inside the shelter of the breakwall.
In the end, we had sun and a refreshing breeze across both days, which made for truly ideal conditions throughout the entire weekend.
If you enjoyed yourself this weekend, please consider joining us at one of our remaining events this year, either in Wasaga Beach, Lakeside, or Niagara Falls.
If you are looking to step up to an Olympic Distance Triathlon this fall, join us on a flat and fast bike course HERE at The Barrelman Niagara Falls Tri on Sept 20th!
Looking ahead to next year, please encourage any interested friends to join us on the Island, as it’s such a great venue for newcomers to Triathlon and Duathlon.
Lastly, a big “Thank You” goes out to our charitable partners at St Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation for their contribution to the success of the event. We would like to thank all participants who generously donated, helping us reach a combined total of over $15,000 raised this year!
All the best,
Jason Vurma
