2025 Wasaga Beach Post Race Report
Congratulations to everyone who enjoyed a perfect day to Swim – Bike – Run and Relax with us in Wasaga Beach!
We were thrilled to host the Sprint Triathlon as a National Team Qualifier for 2026. We saw strong performances from Duncan Gray and Carley Somerset, who took the male and female titles, respectively.
Our Olympic Distance triathletes started by tackling a few waves that built up over the late morning and finished with a close duel between our top three across the line. Miranda Tomenson led the race overall off the Bike and nearly held off Oleksandr Tereshchuk, and our top Relay Team “Trimaran du GGC”, all the way to the Finish Line. All three crossed within 30 seconds of each other for a truly memorable day.
It is hard to believe that the summer is drawing to a close with just our Lakeside and Niagara Falls Barrelman events remaining.
