2025 Toronto Island Post Race Report

Greetings to everyone who joined us on Toronto Island this weekend!
What a weekend on Toronto Island as we welcomed so many folks doing their first Triathlon event.
The weather was on our side as we only saw rain early on Sunday morning, with ideal conditions throughout the rest of the weekend.
We hope you liked the changes made this year to host the event on more scenic Centre Island!
We would like to thank all the athletes who provided us with helpful suggestions after their race. We are looking to create a bit more space for everyone on the RUN OUT section coming out of Transition and revised laps on the bike course. We are excited to be back next year at this spectator-friendly location for an enhanced rider experience in 2026!
If you are looking to step up to an Olympic Distance Triathlon this fall, we have added 50 spots HERE to Barrelman Niagara Falls on Sept 14th!
A big “Thank You” goes out to our charitable partners at St Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation for their contribution to the success of the event. We would like to thank all participants who generously donated, helping us reach a combined total of over $15,000 raised this year!
All the best,
Jason Vurma – Race Director
Congratulations to all who braved the start line at Toronto Island
