2024 Barrie Post Race Report – The MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series

We were excited to welcome a record 1300 participants across two days of racing this past weekend in Barrie.

We saw sunny and breezy conditions all weekend with our Give-It-A-Tri and Kids of Steel on Saturday morning and our Sprint events on Sunday morning.

As a result of the strong winds on Saturday afternoon and evening creating an upwelling of deeper cold water in Kempenfelt Bay, we wanted to thank everyone who switched from the Triathlon to the Duathlon on Sunday. We appreciate our participants’ cooperation in creating the safest possible situation.

With these increased numbers in our Sprint Duathlon, we were also able to present awards in Five (5) Year Age Groups as there were more than 150 in the event as a result!
