Swim Course 

Swim from Halan’s Point Beach – a Blue Flag Beach with some of the best conditions in the GTA.  

Water temperatures tend to be in the 18-21C (64F to 70F) range, so wetsuits are recommended, but not required, for this event. 

Bike Course 

Staying on the quieter West side of Toronto Island, the course travels between Hanlan’s Point and Centre Island.  

Run Course 

A Multi-Loop Course that creates great energy and great camaraderie between participants!

ALL Participants in our events will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to participate. Our events are returning to their normal size and density for 2022, so vaccination against COVID-19 will be required in order to keep everyone safe.

Face Coverings may still be required in some areas where tight quarters are unavoidable, so please come prepared.

Other Notes

Duathlons will feature a Group Starts from the Finish Line

For all Triathlon events, we will ask for a Projected Finishing Time during registration. We will then assign bibs once registration has CLOSED first by Projected Finishing Time and then Youngest to Oldest. We will then create the final Start Waves in groups approx. 50 based-on Projected Finishing Time (fastest to slowest).

Start information will be emailed to all participants on Thurs Aug 18th by 9PM.


Water Bottles – Please bring your own water bottle with you. The City of Toronto has banned plastic water bottles, so water in bottles will not be served as part of the post-race food. Water in jugs will be available for your water bottle after the race. Pop is also served with the post-race food.

Parking – There is plenty of parking in and around the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Please look (or google in advance) for the City of Toronto “Green P Parking”. There is also private parking sites located within a walking distance of the ferry docks.

Ferry Service – special Ferry Service to Hanlan’s Point will begin race morning at 5:30AM departing every half hour (i.e. 5:30AM, 6:00AM. 6:30AM) from the Ferry Terminal. We recommend that you arrive at the Ferry Terminal with enough time to pick-up your bib and ferry ticket and catch a ferry that departs 90 minutes before that start of your race.

When you sign up to volunteer you can choose the volunteer job that most interests you or most qualified for. Our Volunteer Coordinators will do their best to place you in your chosen area.


The ferry terminal is behind the Westin Harbour Castle on Queens Quay. There is plenty of paid parking available in the area.

Getting There

  • Gardiner Expressway to Downtown Toronto
  • Exit at Spadina (if Eastbound) or Exit at Sherbourne/Jarvis(if Westbound)
  • Travel South to Queens Quay
  • Take Queens Quay towards Bay St
