Please note that several KOS races are occurring today in succession, we recommend you arrive at least an hour before your child’s event to allow time for parking, registration and setting up in transition.

200m Swim – 5km Bike – 1.5km Run

12 to 13 Year Olds

300m Swim – 8km Bike – 2.5km Run

14 to 15 Year Olds

500m Swim – 10km Bike – 4km Run

*note – As per Triathlon Ontario rules, parents will not be permitted in Transition while races are in progress. We will have plenty of volunteers to assist our young participants with their transitions.

Course Details


Swim – 100m

In-Water Start and a Swim/Run to Shore. Children will be able to touch the bottom throughout the swim.


Bike – 2.5km

Athletes will put on their helmet and then run/walk their bike through the Bike Exit to the MOUNT line on the road. The bike course is an out and back of 1.25km each way for a total of 2.5km. Athletes will ride to the intersection of 25th Line and Road 92 (North of the race site). Once back at the DISMOUNT line athletes will run/walk their bikes back into Transition, rmove their helmet and proceed to the run.


Run – 800m

Athletes will run out of Transition through the RUN Exit to the road and will complete an 800m out and back run (400m each way) to the Finish Line.
