Chris graduated with a BSc. in Computer Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. He started his working career as a full-time software developer until 2011, when he started working for himself as a self-employed individual.

Chris first came across the MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series back 2006 when he participated in his first ever triathlon race at the Fanshawe conservation area. The following year, Chris was racing at a half dozen of the MultiSport Canada events and could typically be found helping clean up after an event with the MultiSport Crew. In 2012, he started working as race staff and has continued to get more and more involved with the company ever since.

From 2007 through 2014, training, traveling and racing were a primary focus, were Chris would compete in mostly long distance events, all over the globe. He best performance came in 2013 where he was able to finish Ironman #8 in 9hrs 25mins. After racing in the 70.3 World Championships in 2014, Chris took a break from Triathlon and found a new passion in dirt bike and enduro racing.

A few years later, when the pandemic hit, Chris returned to his IT career and now works full-time for the KHSC IT department as a developer. In 2024 a he decided to return to the Wasaga Beach Olympic Triathlon, had an absolute blast at what is one of the BEST races in Canada and was yet again hooked.

Chris continues to swim, bike, and run his way through life and can still be spotted working and/or racing MultiSport Canada’s various events.
