Over the last 20 years of racing, Angela has experienced all levels and distances. Her early days involved chasing Ironman dreams for a decade, racing 7 events.  Her highlight to date is achieving 7th in her age group and 12th amateur woman overall at the Ironman World Championships in 2007 in a personal best of 10:26:41. The next 10 years, “triathlete” life slowed down, however her trick has been to never leave the sport or lose base fitness & health. Making time to re-learn the 4th discipline of nutrition, her 2019 was highlighted in placing 3rd overall at Barrelman Niagara Falls and two overall wins at the Olympic distance.  First, Angela is a swimmer, beginning a life on a club team loving the training right through to graduation day at Laurentian University.  In the last 20 years, Angela has developed into a middle-distance endurance athlete never letting go of the competitive drive. Angela gives to the community and sport through guest speaking, volunteering and welcoming others to discuss whatever they are athletically wondering. She is excited to return to another race season as an MSC Ambassador.  Any spare time is spent with her family, husband Greg, son Rhys & daughter Anna known as “Team Lilly”.
