The K-Town Triathlon once again be a collaboration between MultiSport Canada & Somersault Events and will remain part of the overall series points as well as apply to our multi-race discount.

Swim Course

Water temperatures tend to be in the 22-24C (68F to 74F) range, so wetsuits should be optional for this event.  

Bike Course 

The Long Course heads east and climbs out away from CFB Kingston.  The Course then rolls consistently along its length to Gananoque and back.  This is SHARED ROAD Course, so be sure to follow all safe riding practices 

Short Course Triathlon and Duathlon follow the same scenic route out of Kingston and turns-around at the height of land on Rd 2.

Run Course 

The course climbs up and passes the Barriefield Rock Garden before crossing Rd 15 to enter CFB Kingston.  The course then heads onto quiet roads through CFB Kingston. 

Long Course

Triathlon – 2km Swim – 55km Bike – 15km Run

Bike- Run – 55km Bike – 15km Run

Short Course

Triathlon – Swim 750m – Bike 30km – Run 7.5km

Duathlon – Run 3km – Bike 30km – Run 7.5km

Why do I need to purchase a Triathlon Ontario Membership or One Day Fee during registration?

Triathlon Ontario supports the development of safe multisport in Ontario. All participants are required to purchase a One Day Fee for an additional $9-$12 OR provide a valid Triathlon Ontario Membership Number. Please select one of the mandatory options during registration.

Why do I have to pay a processing fee with my registration?

Race Roster allows participants to select their desired event(s), enter personal information, and process payment. Log in to Race Roster to manage registration for your event(s), edit your email address, and set communication preferences. If you experience any errors or have questions about processing fees, please reach out to support@raceroster.com

Registration Dates & Deadlines 

Register by Sunday, July 7th to receive a T-Shirt with the Event Logo, registrations received after Sunday, July 7th will receive a T-Shirt with our Series Logo.

Any Transfers or deferrals MUST be initiated and completed by 11:59PM on Wednesday, July 17th. See Registration Info HERE.

Register by Sunday, July 21st to receive a personalized bib with your name. Registrations received after Sunday, July 21st will receive a non-personalized race bib.

Registration closes on Thursday, July 25th at 9AM. We will be offering a limited number of spots for Race Day Registration(s). Please arrive at least ninety (90) minutes prior to your desired event with a data enabled cell phone.

Communication

The Pre-Event Notice will be sent on Wednesday, July 17th by 9PM. It will contain important info such as Course Details, Final Event Schedule, Retailers in Attendance, and other tips for the event.

The Final Event Notice will be sent on Thursday, July 25th by 9PM. It will contain important information such as your Bib Number, Wave Start Time, Water Temperature, and Parking Suggestions.    

The Post-Event Report will be published in the News Feed in the middle of the week following the event. We will send notifications to all registered participants as well as include a social media post. A Post-Event Report will contain links to our photo galleries, results, and any other articles written about the event.

Start Details

To create a Safe, Fun and Fair event, during registration, we will assign bibs by Age – (Youngest to Oldest).

The Duathlon will feature a Group Start from the Finish Line. The Long Course Bike/Run will feature an Individual Start from your Bike Rack. All Long Course and Short Course Triathlon Events feature Wave Starts by Bib Number – Youngest to Oldest.
