Course Details

Swim – 400m 

Water temperature is historically 74 degrees on race weekend with excellent water quality.

The course is Rectangular and you will be swimming with the buoys on your LEFT.

Swimmers will start in wave format. The corners of the course will be marked by large (5.5ft) Lime Green Tetrahedrons (3-Dimensional Triangles) and there will be smaller orange markers between the turns.

The swim start is the south side of the canal and will be an in-water start. The course is a counter-clockwise lap where swimmers will exit and run up the grandstands to the cheering crowd!

Please make sure that you are NOT in your aero-bars going around the corners and that your hands on your brake levers, especially during the turn-arounds.

A very spectator friendly and fun 3 lap closed course! No vehicles will be on the road at any point! The course stays proximal to the WIFC, you will NOT have to cross any rail road tracks! You will complete 3 laps, each lap has 2 turn arounds on it.

Run 2.5km

A spectator friendly and traffic free run along the scenic fitness paths beside the Welland Canal, looping past the dog park and back towards the WIFC.

Finish Details
