Official Sanctioning Body for Triathlon in Ontario
Have You Signed Up Yet for the NCCP Youth Development Course in April?

A friendly reminder that Triathlon Ontario is running a very rare NCCP Youth Development Coaching Course on April 25 & 26, 2014 at the Milton Sports Centre, in Milton, Ontario.Ontario has had a long history of a shortage of Youth and Junior level coaches.  What better way to sustain the long term success of your Age Group triathlon coaching clientele than to bring on some youth and juniors that could turn into future Age Groupers?

This course is ideal for those coaches that are interested in expanding their clientele or credentials.  This is also ideal for parents that have youngsters interested in the sport that want to take an active role in their children’s development.  No pre-requesites are required.

This is a two day workshop for The NCCP Youth Development Coaching program which follows principles of LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development) emphasizing participation, skill learning, developmentally appropriate training, and FUN as integral components of multisport experiences for young people.  LTAD ensures that young athletes are engaging in the most efficient, safe, and enjoyable practice activities for their stage of growth and athletic ability.
