The water temperature measured on Monday was 70F or 21C.

Water Quality

Water Quality is Good. We are the only race series to have a Water Quality Guarantee. The Water Quality Guarantee Page has all the details.

Race Day Registration Process

In an effort to make your day go a little smoother we have put together a short video clip which highlights the process on race day. Please take a minute to view the video on MSCtv. Racking by BIB number

Bikes are racked by BIB Number. The BIB numbers are assigned by age and gender so for most athletes that means you will be racked with people in your age group. If you are new to our races, please read the section in our Athlete Resource Library on Racking Your Bike

You’ve Been Shot and My Sports Shooter Free Zone 

We are thrilled to be part of the MulitSport Family for our 11th year! Excitement is building as we move into a new era of photography service for all the participants! There are some amazing changes in how we are going to deliver you the BEST sports event photography in the country.

We will be adding a tent to the vendor event area where you can check out some info about us and our services as well as get a great FREE portrait done by one of our crew!

There can never be enough volunteers so please consider helping out on race day. Just drop by the Volunteer tent and we will be happy to find you a spot with our volunteer team. 2012 Huronia Parking MapGetting There

  • Go North on Highway 400 to Barrie.
  • Take the 400 Extension to Parry Sound/Sudbury.
  • After traveling 16km on Hwy 400, Exit on Highway 93 North to Midland/Penetanguishene.
  • Travel 26km North on Highway 93 North to Midland
  • Go through the shopping mall area of Midland and stay on Highway 93 into Penetanguishene.
  • After traveling just over 30km from Hwy 400, you will reach Robert St in Downtown Penetanguishene.
  • Continue Straight on Hwy 93/Main St for an additional 200m while going down a somewhat steep hill
  • Turn Left (West) on to Water Street
  • Travel 300m West on Water St to Owen St
  • Turn Right (North) onto Owen Street into the parking lot of the Curling Club.
  • Park in the Curling Club parking lot on the Right.

Huronia Triathlon Young Athlete Bursary Update

The winner of the Huronia Triathlon Young Athlete Bursary will be picked on Friday, July 5th. Stay tuned for the announcement at our race on Sunday morning and the results in our post-race newsletter, website and Facebook. We have lots of deserving athletes that have applied!

The Bursary has been made possible through a generous donation fromMultiSport Canada and the support of the Huronia Triathlon Volunteer Committee. Our goal is to be able to offer both successful applicants $750 each to enable them to seek further training as a triathlete.
