What is a CompuTrainer?

CompuTrainer is more than a premier bike trainer. It's also a precision bicycle ergometer measuring wattage, heart rate, and cadence, which matches ergometers like the Lode and SRM costing much more. USA Triathlon and the Canadian Cycling Association rely on CompuTrainer to test and train their national team athletes. For the individual it's like having a personal exercise physiology lab.

More Powerful than other electronic bike trainers (except the Velotron, also by RacerMate), CompuTrainer has a peak power rating in excess of 1500 Watts to simulate road grades up to 15%.

How do I purchase a CompuTrainer or accessories?

CompuTrainer has set up an online order system for MultiSport Canada. All you have to do is visit the CompuTrainer online purchase site.

I already own a CompuTrainer and would like to a workout with a challenge.

Richard Pady and the Healthy Results Training team have come up with a challenge that is a structured workout and fun. You can complete the workout and see how you are doing compared to other athletes in the FREE The HRT CompuTrainer Challenge. Richard will pick 3 courses every month. The goal of the rides is to ride close to your threshold but not over it. HR will list the following statistics for each rider that chooses to participate: Rider Name, Time, Avg Speed, Peak Speed, Avg Watts, Peak Watts, Avg RPM, Peak RPM, CAL. Take a look at the Weekly CompuTrainer Challenge results from 2004 and the upcoming challenges on the Healthy Results Challenge Website.
