Course Details

The swim will start in shallow water. The swim course is a rectangular course with an angled first leg. Athletes will swim 190m and TURN LEFT swimming around the Green Buoy. They will then swim 200m parallel to the shore until the next Green buoy. They will TURN LEFT around the Green buoy and swim back to shore for 110m.


Bike – 10km

ATHLETES MUST RIDE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD AT ALL TIMES. ROADS ARE NOT CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC. INTERSECTIONS WILL BE CONTROLLED BY OPP.

Athletes will put on their helmet and then run/walk their bike through the Bike Exit to the MOUNT line on the road. The bike course is an out and back of 5km each way for a total of 10km.


2015-lakeside_14to15_run_courseRun – 4km

Athletes will run out of Transition through the RUN Exit to the road and will complete a 4km out and back run (2km each way) to the Finish Line. There will be an Aid Station at 1km AND 3km mark with water.
